Your Higher Purpose

Finding a higher purpose is not so much about finding the meaning of life, but rather about becoming the best version of yourself as you move through life. You can find your purpose through many ways such as meditation, prayer, personal reflection, or practicing spiritual wellness. Your higher purpose is there, you just need to reach out for it. When you’ve identified your purpose you’ll choose to seek out experiences that will help you achieve your goal, pursue them ethically, get the help, make that change, and do the work and you’ll begin to feel  fulfillment.

Ways that the universe might be inviting you to explore your higher purposes can come in many ways. One way might be that you feel that your values are shifting and that new ones want to emerge which may result in a new way of being and a re-arrangement of what you prioritize. Another way may be that you’re longing to make a difference and be of service to something greater than yourself. A longing for change is another way of many that you may be reaching an awakening.

All that you have been through has prepared you for your higher purpose. When things happen to us there is often an underlying message there waiting for us. Whether it was a loss of a loved one, an injury, tragedy, job changes, or any other unpredicted life changes when you’ve made it though there is a lesson there. When we go through things we don’t realize that we gain a sense of empathy for when people around us go through similar things. With self reflection we learn these messages. When our lives change direction  it is a call from the soul to change direction. The soul is always weighing in, providing us with clues as to whether we’re living in alignment with our deeper truths.

Some people feel like they are being pulled between conflicting desires; who they should be and who they are meant to be. The society we live in has so many expectations for us to follow this life-agenda; go to college, get a job,get married, and have kids. But for many, a shift from focusing the majority of our time and attention on fulfilling roles and the needs of others, and moving towards growth, self-love, spirituality, and living aligned with our authentic selves is what we need to know to know where we are now is exactly where we need to be.
